Administrative Offices Closed

31 Oct 2025 City Hall is closed every other Friday. The City of Menlo Park participates in a "compressed work week" schedule in which a regular full-time two-week work schedule of 80 hours is compressed into eight nine-hour days and one eight-hour days within a two-week period (9/80). This results in longer business hours throughout the week (7:30 am to 5:30 pm Mon-Thu) with offices closed every other Friday.

Water-Wise Soil: Compost, Mulch and Soil Health Class

01 Nov 2025 This in person workshop will cover simple, effective techniques to build soil health while conserving water and supporting plant growth. Learn the basics of composting, sheet mulching, soil testing and vermicomposting, plus how to use mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Additionally, enjoy a free compost bag as a souvenir!
