Form 700 - FPPC Statements of Economic Interests

Effective Jan. 1, 2013, the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) requires city clerks who maintain a website to post a notification online related to Form 700 requirements for elected city officers and public employees who make or influence governmental decisions.

The following information is provided in accordance with the requirements of California Government Code §87505 et seq.:

Pursuant to Cal. Gov. Code §87200 et seq., the following City of Menlo Park officials and candidates are required to file full-disclosure statements of economic interests (Fair Political Practices Commission Form 700):

  • City Councilmember
  • Candidate for City Councilmember
  • Planning Commissioner
  • City Manager
  • City Attorney
  • Administrative Services Director/Finance Director

Designated filers

State law requires some officials to file Form 700s. Many other city officials must also file Form 700s under the City's local Conflict of Interest Code, a policy adopted by the City Council.
