Information About Menlo Park’s Measure CC

On July 9, the City Council placed Measure CC on the November 2024.

If enacted, Measure CC does not increase taxes for Menlo Park residents and adjusts the existing Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) from 12% to 15.5% – which is only paid by local hotel and lodging guests.

By law, no Measure CC funds can be taken by Sacramento. All funds must be spent for the benefit of Menlo Park residents.

The City will continue its high standards for fiscal accountability and transparency. If enacted, all Measure CC funds are subject to independent financial audits and yearly community reports.
