The City of Menlo Park hosts a wide variety of community events, celebrations, observances, cultural and educational programs.

Big annual community celebrations include the Spring Festival, Juneteenth Celebration, Halloween Carnival, Light Up the Season, and much more. The popular Summer Concert Series features live musical performances in the park. Check out the annual line-up of big community events.

Free literary and cultural events take place nearly every day, year-round. Events include children's storytimes, music and dance performances, author talks, book discussions, and arts and crafts for makers all ages. Traveling exhibits and virtual museum tours bring arts and culture from around the world. There's something for every age from infant to school-age, teens to older adult and everyone in between. Recreational classes for all ages: Learning is a lifelong adventure! Fee-based recreational activities are held on a seasonal basis year-round, and include fitness, dance, sports, gymnastics, music, drama, arts, crafts, cooking and much more.
