Pickleball and tennis courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless a reservation has been made in advance. Reservations are limited in order to provide optimum court space for the public and community use. Whenever possible, at least 50 percent of each court site will remain accessible to the public on a first-come first-served basis. The City reserves the right to reserve additional courts when needed for activities such as city programs, tournaments, summer camps and other uses.

Reservation fees

Fees are $17/hour for residents and $22/hour for nonresidents. Cancellation fee of $25 or the cost of the full rental (whichever is lower) will be applied to canceled tennis facility reservations. Cancellations because of rain-outs and City closures will not be charged a fee. Please see our Tennis Court Rental Information and Use Policy for additional information.

About tennis

Tennis remains a tried and true racket sport that for years has engaged players both physically and mentally in a game committed to good sportsmanship. City of Menlo Park tennis courts are free for community drop-in play. Some tennis courts are reservable for a registration fee.

About pickleball

Pickleball, although relatively new in the world of racket sports, combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong into a lively experience with a strong social element. Don't know how to play? Learn the rules. No paddles? No problem! Pickleball paddles and balls are available to borrow from Menlo Park Library.
