Starting Tuesday, July 1, the M1-Crosstown Shuttle schedule is changing to respond to changing traffic and commute patterns, as well as reducing run 1 inbound and run 5 outbound service. The detailed maps are now available in both English(PDF, 347KB) and Spanish(PDF, 347KB).
The M1-Crosstown Shuttle is a free community service route open to everyone. It runs between Belle Haven and Sharon Heights via downtown Menlo Park, downtown Palo Alto, and the Stanford Shopping Center/Stanford Medical Center area. The M1-Crosstown Shuttle operates Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. It operates with two 20-passenger buses, which each have space for one wheelchair and a rack that can accommodate two bicycles.

Additionally, this shuttle connects to shuttles at the Palo Alto Caltrain station. The Stanford Marguerite Shuttle offers connections to/around Stanford University. The City of Palo Alto Link Shuttle offers on-demand service for a fare to destinations around Palo Alto, including the Stanford Ear Clinic and Byers Eye Institute.
The shuttle service is funded through generous grants from the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission Lifeline Program, and the City of Menlo Park.
The following are the stops that the M1-Crosstown Shuttle serve. Not all stops may be marked, so if you are unsure of their location please check the shuttle map on the City shuttle's homepage, or Google Maps for their approximate location.
