The City Council annual reorganization meeting is Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, starting at 6 p.m. At this meeting, the City Council will recognize outgoing Mayor Drew Combs. The City Council will also select the new mayor and vice mayor for 2022.

Menlo Park’s City Council is the city's governing body. In general municipal elections occurring in even numbered years, its members are elected by district to four-year staggered terms. The mayor and vice mayor each serve one-year terms and are selected annually by the City Council in December.
