Apply for the California Dream Fund Grant Program

The NorCal SBDC Network is teaming up with the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development to provide eligible small businesses the opportunity to apply for a grant award of $5,000 to $10,000. The California Dream Fund Grant Program provides microgrants to seed entrepreneurship and small business creation.

To be eligible for the program, businesses must:

  • Have been officially registered with the state after July 1, 2019. Businesses not yet registered can participate in the program, but cannot receive the grant until they are registered, and
  • Complete an 11-hour training program, and
  • Be located in northern California, and
  • Agree to all applicable terms and conditions.
