Happy Earth month! Did you know Earth Day is on April 22? It’s a time to reflect on our planet, take action and celebrate sustainability! But why stop at just one day? Let’s extend the celebration by coming together for the Love Our Earth Festival on April 26 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Belle Haven Community Campus (BHCC) at 100 Terminal Ave.

Join us for a day filled with eco-friendly family fun, interactive activities and inspiring ways to make a difference for our planet. Whether you're passionate about climate action, recycling, clean energy or simply enjoying nature, this festival has something for everyone! This cherished annual event brings together local organizations, environmental experts and community members to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Free activities will include:

  • Story times
  • A local author talk
  • Workshops on herbalism and native plant gardens
  • A climate carnival with a circus performance
  • A free compost giveaway
  • Interactive environmental education exhibits
  • Local vendors
  • Children's activities and crafts
  • Live entertainment
