Utility bill discounts available for low-income residents

The City of Menlo Park offers a utility rate assistance program to help income-qualified residents lower their solid waste and water bills. Eligible households can receive a 20% discount on Recology solid waste bills and a 50%discount on the 5/8-inch meter service charges for Menlo Park Municipal Water customers with credits applied retroactively.

Middle Avenue Caltrain Crossing Project City Council study session

The Menlo Park City Council will discuss the next steps for the Middle Avenue Caltrain Crossing Project at a study session Jan. 27. This project will construct a pedestrian and bicycle undercrossing of the Caltrain railroad near Middle Avenue, connecting Alma Street near Burgess Park to El Camino Real at the open space plaza that is part of Stanford’s Middle Plaza at 500 El Camino Real project.

Police partner in an operation to address human trafficking

Child safety seat installation event this Sunday, Jan. 25
