Athletic fields

Menlo Park has a variety of athletic fields for use by local residents and organized sports groups, which include soccer, football, lacrosse, softball, and more. Host your next company kickball game or soccer tournament at a Menlo Park field.

One-time athletic field rentals

City of Menlo Park athletic fields are available year-round for one-time reservations and community events, subject to availability and rental requirements. The one-time reservations do not require a designated field user group application. Applications for one-time reservations are accepted at any time.

Seasonal athletic field rentals

The City of Menlo Park is currently in the February - August season, but is accepting Designated Field User Group applications for the September - January season.

The Designated Field User Group application is for organized sports groups that use athletic fields for recurring practices, games, and tournaments. Designated Field User Groups may reserve City of Menlo Park athletic fields within the specified season, subject to field availability, applicant eligibility, and other requirements. Organized sports teams and leagues that primarily serve Menlo Park residents are encouraged to apply.

Field closures

Occasionally, for maintenance, special events, or weather, the City of Menlo Park may need to close an athletic field. The City of Menlo Park reserves the right to close athletic fields. For up-to-date information on athletic field closures, you can check our field closures at Team Sideline.
