Menlo Park Senior Center

Senior Special Event Luncheon ladies smile for picture in festive attire

The City of Menlo Park offers programs specifically for active adults aged 60 years and older.

Located at Belle Haven Community Campus, 100 Terminal Ave, our programs offer seniors a central place to build community, enjoy social events, access free library services and programs, stay active at the fitness center, participate in low-impact aquatics programs that are joint-health friendly, partake in a walking track with a walking group, a makerspace to exercise creativity, a gymnasium, a much-loved senior nutrition program, and more.

Senior programs and activities are open to all seniors Monday - Friday from morning through lunchtime.

Transportation services are available.

Nutrition program and food assistance

Our nutrition program offers seniors a freshly prepared, affordable, nutritionally balanced lunch prepared by a dedicated nutrition coordinator. Lunch is a suggested donation of $2.50. Nutrition is then paired with plenty of opportunities for activity, recreation, dance, creative arts, educational programs, special events, and opportunities for conversation and fun to keep seniors in our community connected and strong for life. Lunch is first-come, first-served while supplies last. Check out this month's lunch menu to plan your visit.

Please note that twice per month, there is no lunch service while our staff distributes brown bag groceries to those in need. Groceries are distributed in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank and are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. If you are experiencing food scarcity, we have compiled a list of additional food resources, including locations where you can find help with groceries and hot meals.
