The City of Menlo Park offers FREE shuttle service that is open to everyone. This shuttle service connects the public to local community destinations and commuters working in the business parks. The community shuttles serve local destinations in Menlo Park such as senior facilities, downtown retail, library, and more. The commuter shuttles serve the Marsh Road and Willow Road business parks from the Caltrain station during commute hours.

With the exception of the Shoppers' Shuttle, all shuttles operate Monday through Friday. All shuttles are wheelchair-accessible and have a rack that accommodates two bicycles.

Comprehensive shuttle study

Routes & Schedules

Service on all Menlo Park shuttles are FREE and open to the public. For a full overview of the shuttles, view the shuttle system route map(PDF, 185KB). In order to make journeys easier, shuttles can be tracked in real time and riders can sign up for text alerts to be notified of any potential service disruptions.

M1-Crosstown Shuttle

Starting Monday, Sept. 23, 2024 the M1-Crosstown Shuttle schedule is changing to respond to community requests.

The M1-Crosstown Shuttle offers all-day service to Belle Haven, downtown Menlo Park, Sharon Heights, and downtown Palo Alto. Additional details about the shuttle, including a list of stops, can be found on the M1-Crosstown Shuttle webpage.

Shoppers' Shuttle

The Shoppers' Shuttle offers curb-to-curb service on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays to Menlo Park, parts of Palo Alto, and Redwood City. Additional details about the shuttle, including how to reserve a ride and sample destinations, can be found on the Shoppers' Shuttle webpage. Sunday service to Redwood City will begin in July 2024.

M3-Marsh Road Shuttle

Starting Monday, Sept. 23, 2024 the M3-Marsh Road Shuttle schedule is changing to meet the new Caltrain schedules.

The M3-Marsh Road Shuttle offers morning and afternoon peak service between Menlo Park Caltrain and the Marsh Road business parks on Bohannon Drive, Constitution Drive, Jefferson Drive, and Haven Avenue. Additional details about the shuttle, including a list of stops, can be found on the M3-Marsh Road Shuttle webpage.

Alternative service to the Marsh Road business parks is available on the Menlo Gateway Shuttle.

M4-Willow Road Shuttle

Starting Monday, Sept. 23, 2024 the M4-Willow Road Shuttle schedule is changing to meet the new Caltrain schedules.

The M4-Willow Road Shuttle offers morning and afternoon peak service between Menlo Park Caltrain and the Willow Road business parks on Willow Road, O'Brien Drive, and Adams Drive. Additional details about the shuttle, including a list of stops, can be found on the M4-Willow Road Shuttle webpage.

M1-Crosstown Shuttle

M4-Willow Road Shuttle

Starting Monday, April 15, 2024, the stop at Menlo Park Caltrain will temporarily move due to construction on the historic station house. The stop will move approximately 100 feet down the sidewalk to near the clock tower, across the street from Philz Coffee. This move will last until the end of September 2024, please see A-frame signage to know where to board the shuttle.

Shoppers' Shuttle

Stay Informed

In order to make journeys easier, shuttles can be tracked in real time and riders can sign up for text alerts to be notified of any potential service disruptions. For immediate assistance, please contact the shuttle operator, MV Transportation, at 650-692-1003.

Hours of Operation

The M1-Crosstown, M3-Marsh Road, and M4-Willow Road Shuttles operate Mondays to Fridays. The Shoppers' Shuttle operates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

The shuttles do not operate on the following holidays (or their observed days) listed below. Shuttles do however operate on the Juneteenth, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day holidays. Please note that due to some holidays moving every year, there may be changes to the typical holiday operations schedule.

Fares and Accessibility

All Menlo Park shuttles are FREE and open to everyone. All shuttle vehicles are wheelchair-accessible and have a rack that can accommodate two bicycles. The M1-Crosstown, M3-Marsh Road, and M4-Willow Road Shuttles do not require reservations, just show up to the stop at the scheduled time. The Shoppers' Shuttle does require reservations at least one day in advance, more details can be found on the Shoppers' Shuttle webpage.
