Transportation Master Plan
The City's Transportation Master Plan(PDF, 24MB) (TMP) provides a detailed vision, set goals and performance metrics for network performance, and outline an implementation strategy for both improvements to be implemented locally and for local contributions towards regional improvements. It updated the City’s Bicycle Devlopment Plan and Sidewalk Master Plan(PDF, 3MB). Concurrent with the Transportation Master Plan, the City updated the Transportation Impact Fee program that collects funds towards construction of the improvements identified and prioritized in the TMP. An online interactive map is available to review the projects identified in the TMP.
The Transportation Master Plan does not identify specific solutions to individual neighborhood cut-through traffic concerns, specific Safe Routes to School infrastructure plans, or provide detailed engineering designs of the improvements that will be identified in the Plan. These efforts are developed as individual projects in the TMP are prioritized for implementation.
A consultant team was hired in May 2017 to prepare the Transportation Master Plan and update the Transportation Impact Fee program. Significant outreach was conducting including an online and in person open houses, pop up events, walking tours, and surveys. Over 1,200 people participated in these events.
Current status
