National Night Out

Last week, the Menlo Park Police Department joined communities across the country in celebrating the 41st Annual National Night Out (NNO). NNO is a beloved tradition that strengthens the bond between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve. National Night Out is all about building safer, more connected communities through positive police-community partnerships. This year, Menlo Park came alive with eight vibrant block parties spread throughout our neighborhoods.

From cozy driveway gatherings to park picnics to lively street-wide celebrations, each event was a testament to the spirit of unity and collaboration.

A huge thank-you goes out to the incredible block party captains who took the lead in organizing these events. Your dedication and hospitality made this night truly special!

The Department is already looking forward to next year — and would love to see even more residents join in by hosting their own block parties. It’s a fun and meaningful way to bring neighbors together and connect with your local police officers. Visit the National Night Out page to learn more and get involved.

Together, we’re building a stronger Menlo Park — one block at a time.
