Prepare for the rainy season by installing a rain barrel!

Are you interested in saving water, saving money, reducing runoff and pollution, and collecting rainwater for your yard? With the raining season upon us and with California experiencing another year of drought, Menlo Park Municipal Water wants to remind customers that we offer a rain barrel rebate program. In partnership with the San Mateo Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program (a program of the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County), BAWSCA and Menlo Park Municipal Water are offering rebates of up to $200 per rebate for the purchase and installation of qualifying rain barrels and cisterns.

To be eligible for this program, households must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a Menlo Park Municipal Water Customer
  • Must submit your application within 90 days of the purchase
  • Must provide copies of your original receipts and provide two post installation images
  • Offered to only residential customer
