San Mateo County Coastal Cleanup Day

Gloved hand picking up cans on the beach

Coastal Cleanup Day is Sept. 21! Volunteer today to join your community and make a positive impact to help keep the ocean and the Bay clean. The City of Menlo Park and Grassroots Ecology are partnering to host volunteers for Coastal Cleanup Day at San Francisquito Creek. This annual event brings communities together throughout the state to clean California's beaches, lakes and watersheds. Join us as we remove trash and recyclables from our local watershed to celebrate and enhance our beautiful waterways.

Can’t join a cleanup on Sept. 21? Conduct a self-led cleanup during the month of September in your neighborhood! Download the Clean Swell app and track your impact. Learn more about self-led cleanups.
