Celebrate the past, present, and future of Black Americans on this day of education, cultural remembrance and the presentation of the Youth Poster Exhibition. Join us as we pay respect to local heroes of the Belle Haven and nearby communities. Hear inspiring words of strength, triumph and resilience. We hope to see you for the celebration in 2025!

2024 Youth Poster Exhibition

In conjunction with the City of Menlo Park Black Liberation Month Celebration in February, the Youth Poster Exhibition encourages youth creativity and expression. K-12 students who live or attend school in Menlo Park were invited to submit their original poster art for display in the Black History Month Youth Poster Exhibition.

The exhibition theme is “Black Culture in the Arts," inspired by African, Caribbean and Black American lived experiences.

The youth poster contest prizes are generously provided by the Menlo Park Library Foundation.
