Book donations

Donations of new and gently used books are handled by partner charitable nonprofit organization, Friends of the Menlo Park Library. Donated books are sold in the library bookstore, at quarterly sales and online; proceeds support the Menlo Park libraries. Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Menlo Park Library are always seeking volunteers to assist with sorting, pricing, and selling donated books in the library bookstore, at quarterly sales and online.

Teen Advisory Group

Menlo Park students in grades 7-12 are welcome to join the Teen Advisory Group (TAG), which develops ideas with library staff about our teen programs, displays and more. The Teen Advisory Group meets twice a month at the Menlo Park Library.

Friends of the Menlo Park Library

The Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the library by reselling donated books and media. The proceeds go to the library's resources, facilities, programs and events.

Library Commission

The Library Commission is an advisory body charged primarily with advising the City Council on matters related to the maintenance and operation of the City's libraries and library systems.

Literacy Partners - Menlo Park

Literacy Partners - Menlo Park (LPMP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting literacy programs and projects through fundraising and community awareness.

Menlo Park Historical Association

The Menlo Park Historical Association was organized in 1971 as an offshoot of the Friends of the Library with the aim to collect, preserve and disseminate historical data, information, relics and objects or records of historical interest relating to the City of Menlo Park and environs.

Menlo Park Library Foundation

The Menlo Park Library Foundation is a volunteer organization which raises funds to support library services and innovative programs for children and families.
