Dangerous animal determination hearing - Chispita
An administrative hearing to determine if the American Bulldog "Chispita" is a "Dangerous Animal", has been scheduled for Monday Aug. 7, 2023, at noon.
The hearing will be held via video teleconference and the parties involved will be notified of the meeting link separately.
As a representative of the City of Menlo Park, it is the duty of the independent hearing officer to determine if this dog should be declared "Dangerous", as defined in Menlo Park Municipal Code §9.02.100.
The owner/petitioner has the right to present oral and/or written evidence and be represented by counsel. Evidence can only be submitted during the hearing. The owner/petitioner may bring witnesses or other interested parties.
