The City will soon begin design for the 2024 Citywide Slurry Seal Project. This project is included in the City’s 5-Year street maintenance program presented to the City Council on December 5, 2023.
Slurry seal is a surface treatment that prolongs the life of asphalt roadways. The project includes slurry sealing up to 28 City streets across five districts (contingent upon available funding). Staff is currently soliciting construction bids for the project and additional updates will be provided prior to construction. A map of the proposed project locations(PDF, 22MB) is available.
