Nealon Park pedestrian and intersection improvements

The project includes installation of sidewalk, curb ramps, and related improvements on Middle Avenue in front of Nealon Park. When this project is complete, there will be a continuous sidewalk on the north side of Middle Avenue. The project also includes installing rectangular rapid flashing beacons to improve pedestrian crossings of Middle Avenue at Blake Street.

The project is partially funded by a grant from the San Mateo County Transportation Authority's Bicycle and Pedestrian Program.

Current status

Project improvements have been constructed and the project is complete as of September 2022.
