In June 2021, the terminal for the M1-Crosstown Shuttle moved from the Menlo Park Senior Center to the corner of Terminal Avenue and Del Norte Avenue. This temporary stop will be in service until approximately mid-2024 while the new Menlo Park Community Campus is being constructed. While the stop for the end of the line will change, the shuttle schedule remains unchanged.

Menlo Park's senior services have moved to the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center at Burgess Park during construction. This is a short walk from the M1-Crosstown Shuttle's Menlo Park Library stop. Maps and schedules are available below.

General information

The M1-Crosstown Shuttle is a free community service route open to everyone. It runs between Belle Haven and Sharon Heights via downtown Menlo Park, downtown Palo Alto, and the Stanford Shopping Center/Stanford Medical Center area. The M1-Crosstown Shuttle operates Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.– 6 p.m. It operates with two 20-passenger buses, which each have a space for one wheelchair and a rack that can accommodate two bicycles.

Schedules and detailed maps for the M1-Crosstown Shuttle are available on the City shuttle's homepage in both English and Spanish. To request a printed schedule/map, please contact the Transportation Division via email or at 650-330-6770.

Additionally, this shuttle connects to shuttles at the Palo Alto Caltrain station. The Stanford Marguerite Shuttle offers connections to/around Stanford University. The City of Palo Alto Link Shuttle offers on-demand service for a fare to destinations around Palo Alto, including the Stanford Ear Clinic and Byers Eye Institute.

The shuttle service is funded through generous grants from the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission Lifeline Program, and the City of Menlo Park.
