Housing Commission special meeting focuses on Housing Element Update

The City of Menlo Park is currently updating its required Housing Element and Safety Element, and preparing a new Environmental Justice Element.

The Housing Commission will review and discuss housing policies as part of the State-mandated Housing Element. Housing policy topics will include items identified during the community outreach process, state laws and possible ways to facilitate the construction of affordable housing. The Housing Commission will provide direction on housing policies for consideration in the Housing Element.
