The City of Menlo Park was filled with live music at Fremont Park and Karl E. Clark Park thanks to the Summer Concert Series! Did you get a chance to experience the festivities? The Summer Concert Series featured a variety of musical styles: R&B, classic rock, Latin blues, southern soul, disco, and pop!

Here is a recap of all the performances from this summer! 

July 12, Luv Bomb, Classic Soul/R&B - Fremont Park
Luv Bomb is a 9-piece R&B/soul cover band, playing all those classic hits from the 60s and 70s that make you get up and shake what your momma gave you. While they will always be rooted in the classic period of soul and funk, if it has a groove that will make people get up and dance, they're down to play it!

July 19, Night Owls, Top 40s - Fremont Park
Night Owls is a cover band passionate about putting on a great show with awesome music, and the band performs hit songs that will get the dance floor packed. The members of Nights Owls are made up of veterans in the bay area music scene.

July 26, Fog City Swampers, Classic Rock - Fremont Park
The Fog City Swampers have been rocking Northern California and beyond since 2003. The band puts on a high-energy show that's sure to get people moving on the dance floor. If you like live music, come on down and be a part of the Swamp show!

August 2, Curley Taylor, Zydeco - Fremont Park
Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble are a premier Zydeco band from the heart of Creole country in Louisiana. Curley plays his own style of high-energy zydeco, infused with old-school R&B, blues, and southern soul.

August 9, Arena Band, Classic Rock - Fremont Park
Arena is a Tribute to the Epic Songs of the '70s and '80s, recreating the songs you love by your favorite classic rock bands

August 11, Tebo Muzik, Soul & Funk - Karl E. Clark Park
Frank "Tebo" Thibeaux is a Belle Haven neighborhood native and has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old. He brings his signature blend of funky blues with a Zydeco twist. His band style is described as fun and funky.

August 16, The Sun Kings, Beatles Tribute - Fremont Park
Relive a magical time in history with the Sun Kings. Enjoy music created by the most influential band of all time. You'll hear the number 1 hits from the Beatles. The Sun Kings continue to amaze their fans with their uncanny channeling and respect for the music they perform.

August 18, Busta Groove, R&B & Motown - Karl E. Clark Park
Busta-Groove! brings every song they perform to life. They play music for everyone from classic Motown, '70s funk, disco, rock, and '80s pop. Busta-Groove! was voted one of the best local rock bands in the East Bay and one of America's 15 Best Wedding Bands by NBC.
