Upcoming public works department accreditation evaluation

Public works staff has devoted the past two years to standardizing practices and establishing procedures to uphold the quality standards of the City in pursuit of  accreditation through the American Public Works Association (APWA). APWA is an international educational and professional association of public agencies, private sector companies, and individuals dedicated to public works.

In the upcoming week, external evaluators from different agencies will join our department to assess staff's progress toward achieving accreditation. This rigorous process aims to aid organizations in formalizing and improving services and practices crucial to their respective cities.
