Calling all residents interested in local leadership! Annual recruitment is open for Menlo Park advisory bodies. Residents over the age of 18 are encouraged to apply by March 27. The City is actively seeking applicants for all advisory bodies. Advisory bodies examine issues of community concern and provide valuable guidance to the City Council. Serving on an advisory body or commission is an opportunity to actively participate in the growth and development of the Menlo Park community.

Current vacancies include:

• Three vacancies on the Complete Streets Commission.
• Three vacancies on the Environmental Quality Commission.
• Three vacancies on the Finance and Audit Commission.
• One vacancy on the Housing Commission.
• One vacancy on the Library Commission.
• Two vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission.

All applicants must be 18 or older, a resident of Menlo Park and committed to attending scheduled meetings. Term length will vary for each advisory body.
