Upcoming re-roofing project at City Hall

Public Works will soon begin a re-roofing project at City Hall. Construction is anticipated to start on Sept. 16 and will take approximately five weeks to complete. The scope of work includes removing and replacing asphalt shingles over the entire building in preparation for solar panel upgrades next year.

The project is scheduled from Monday through Friday (between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and City Hall will remain open and accessible to the public, during this time. Additional notices will be placed near City Hall in advance of the project start date. Please pardon any noise which may result from construction activities; we thank you for your understanding and patience.

Future locations of the re-roofing project will include City Council Chambers, the Main Library and the Belle Haven Child Development Center. More information to come.
