The 2024 Rain Barrel Bulk Sale is here until Nov. 30

With the upcoming rainy season around the corner, it is a better time than ever to invest in a rain barrel. By installing a rain barrel, you can help protect the water quality of our local creeks, the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean, conserve precious water for your garden and reduce the cost of your water bill.
Flows to Bay has brought back the Rain Barrel Bulk Sale Program for the fourth consecutive year. The program offers San Mateo County residents the opportunity to purchase up to two high-quality 50 gallon rain barrels at a discounted price of $80 each. This is a significant price reduction from the rain barrel’s $155 value. Additionally, Menlo Park Municipal Water (MPMW) customers can receive a rebate of up to $200 for the purchase and installation of a rain barrel or cistern. With Flows to Bay’s price reduction along with the City’s rain barrel rebate program, MPMW customers can get their rain barrels completely free. If you are not a MPMW customer, please check with your water provider to see if they offer a rain barrel rebate.
How to participate in the program:
- Select a pickup location. The exact addresses will be provided after you complete your purchase.
- Town of Hillsborough, December 7, 9 a.m. – noon.
- City of San Carlos, December 14, 9 a.m. – noon.
- Complete the program Agreement Form that correlates to the pickup location you have selected and complete your purchase.
- Pickup and install your rain barrel.
- Apply for the rain barrel rebate after installation to receive up to $200.
