Menlo Park sixth grader wins the 2024 RethinkWaste Poster Contest

RethinkWaste held its annual Poster Contest this fall with the theme "Green Routine," inviting students to create a poster showcasing the daily actions they take to make the Earth a better place. A Menlo Park sixth grade student from La Entrada Middle School won first place in the 2024 Poster Contest. Congratulations to Airelle H. for creating an awesome piece called "What can YOU do to help the environment?"
Students followed these contest guidelines:
- Posters must be created individually. One entry per student.
- Posters must use 8.5 x 11 inch white paper in landscape (horizontal) orientation. No lined paper.
- No copyrighted material, computer graphics, or characters. Original artwork only.
- Posters must be 2D and in any medium (paint, markers, color pencils, crayons, etc.)
Menlo Park City Council recognized Airelle's accomplishment and artwork(PDF, 969KB) at the Dec. 17 City Council meeting.
