North Access Road/Kelly Park construction impacts October & November

Construction and paving activities will affect the Kelly Park Access Road from Monday, October 9, 2023, through Friday, November 10, 2023.

The North Access Road leading to Kelly Park and the Belle Haven Youth Center portables will be reduced to a single lane (with full time flaggers to direct traffic), weekdays from October 9 through November 5 during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pedestrian access to Kelly Park and the Belle Haven Youth Center portables will be redirected through the construction site's concrete walkway, with the entrance to pedestrian access shifting closer to the parking lot entrance at Terminal Avenue.

Parking in the lot closest to Beechwood School will be open.

Repaving will prevent all vehicle access to the Kelly Park Access Road from November 6 through November 10 during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The road surface will be in flux during after-hours access during this week.

Drivers are advised to slow down, be alert for pedestrians entering the roadway, park only in designated areas, and to follow all construction signs and directions.
