Poster and video contest winners!

A few months ago, the Menlo Park SRTS launched a poster contest for elementary students and a video contest for middle and high school students.

The topic of the poster contest was “Protect your brain when you roll.” Students were invited to show in their drawing why and when wearing a helmet is important.

The winners of the poster contest are:

First Place: Siena and Asha Miller, second grade at Oak Knoll Elementary 

Second Place: Jake Klassen and Rehan Kalluru, fifth grade at Encinal Elementary

Third Place: David Herbrich, second grade at Encinal Elementary
Fourth Place: Joohan Choi, third grade at Encinal Elementary

Middle and high school students were asked to promote safe biking etiquette in their video.

The winner of the video contest is Zach Egnal, eighth grade student at Hillview Middle.
