Menlo Park PD holds Swearing-in Ceremony for new hires and promotions

The Menlo Park Police Department held a swearing-in ceremony for recently promoted staff and new hires earlier this month. This ceremony took place at the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center and included several records specialists, communication dispatchers, community service officers, management analysts and police officers who were hired within the last two years.
It also included the swearing-in of the recently hired Police Commander, Wilson Lau. There were also several officers promoted to Corporals and Sergeants at the ceremony.
Staff were joined by friends and family, as well as Mayor Cecilia Taylor and City Manager Justin Murphy, to celebrate this momentous occasion. We are proud to congratulate all of the employees on their promotions and honored to have new staff join the City of Menlo Park team to continue providing the community with the highest level of service.
