Join a Citizen-Led Collaboration Session on Lessons Learned From The Storms and Preparing For Future Ones. Menlo Park experienced multiple power outages due to this winter's storms. Join this discussion to learn from that experience and prepare for the future.

The discussion will be held on Thursday, May 11, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Trinity Hall at Trinity Church, located at 330 Ravenswood Avenue in Menlo Park.

During the session, you will have the chance to:

  • Share with and hear from your neighbors about the challenges you faced and the creative hacks employed during the outages.
  • Hear from MPC Ready about household resilience and the positive impact of neighbors knowing and helping each other during emergencies.
  • Explore emerging technology that can help during an outage.
  • Gather feedback about what worked and what else is needed from city and county officials during emergencies.

Note this is not a City hosted event and is led by dedicated volunteers in our community.
