Attention Contractors: Gain new skills for Energy Awareness month!

October is Energy Awareness Month, and the City of Menlo Park is excited to highlight the importance of energy conservation and sustainability with events, resources and tips to help our community reduce energy use and promote a cleaner environment.

Bay Area E-Contractor Academy:

Emerald Cities Collaborative’s E-Contractor Academy is a FREE weekly workshop series that builds technical, financial and operational capacity with small minority/BIPOC, women, veteran-owned and/or disadvantaged (MWVDBE) construction businesses to successfully do business in climate-critical decarbonization fields such as building electrification, energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Participants receive training, business support and the opportunity to connect with projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.

When: Tuesdays from 3 - 6:30 p.m., Oct. 22 - Nov. 12

Where: In-Person, at the San Jose Environmental Innovation Center (1608 Las Plumas Ave, San Jose, 95133)
