While you're preparing delicious feasts this Thanksgiving and through the holidays, remember to protect your pipes by properly disposing of fats, oils and grease (FOG).

FOG includes materials like butter, lard, cooking oils and grease. When these materials cool, they can harden and cause blockages in our sewer systems, leading to costly damage.

To avoid damaging your pipes and the public sewer system, always dispose of FOG and wipes in the trash—never down the drain.
