Capturing Rainwater for Reuse Workshop March 21

Menlo Park Municipal Water customers are eligible for a rebate of up to $200 for the purchase and installation of a rain barrel. Additionally, customers are eligible to receive $3 per square foot of lawn converted to drought tolerant plants plus an additional $300 for the inclusion of a rain garden. If you would like to participate in this program but are not sure where to get started, the City is hosting a Capturing Rainwater for Reuse Workshop to assist and educate residents on how to get started.

In this informative webinar, learn about best practices to install rain barrels and a rain garden to divert precious rainwater from the gutter and to your landscape. Additionally, learn how to determine the best site and install your own rain garden and how to apply and qualify for the rain barrel and the Lawn Be Gone rebate programs.
