Free bike repair workshops for children

Live in Peace is launching a bike apprenticeship program for children of 8 to 15 years old. The program is designed to enhance the basic skills it takes to properly maintain a bike. Youth will learn how to fix a flat tire, refurbish and repair bikes, learn the proper way to install brakes and the other basic fundamentals to maintain proper care for bikes.

The program will be running all summer at the Belle Haven Branch Library. Children who enroll in this six-week program will receive certificates upon completion. Learn more and register today.
