May 10 City Council meeting to discuss Sharon Road sidewalk updates

On May 10, the City Council will provide an update on the Sharon Road Sidewalk project. The project proposes safer access to La Entrada Middle School with a new pathway on the north side of Sharon Road from Alameda de las Pulgas to Altschul Avenue. The La Entrada Middle school community and residents are encouraged to attend.

On Dec. 7, 2021, the City Council approved designs for a 5-foot wide sidewalk for the project. Menlo Park finalized the project’s construction drawings and solicited construction bids in April.

The project is currently scheduled for award of construction at the May 10, 2022, City Council meeting. Additional meeting information may be found on the Sharon Road Sidewalk project webpage.
