Graphic of cities and their pledge to bike to school

May is Bike Month and everyone is encouraged to roll this month! The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition has launched the Pedal Power Challenge, a competition among cities in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties to get more residents to Pledge to Ride. With just over four weeks left, Menlo Park continues to outdistance the field!

Riders from all ages and skills are welcome to participate. More people on bikes mean healthier and greener cities. Take your bike and roll to work, to school, to run errands or take a trip to your favorite place. Each bike makes a difference!

As part of Bike to Wherever Days, Bike to Work Day will happen on Thursday, May 18. As part of Bike to Work Day, the City of Menlo Park will have Energizer Stations at different locations: Caltrain Station, Ringwood Avenue bike bridge, Willow Place bike bridge, and San Mateo Drive bike. Come say hello and get a canvas bag and snacks! Pledge to ride today!
