San Mateo County automated vehicles virtual public workshop

Join San Mateo County on Nov. 15 for a virtual public workshop about the Countywide Automated Vehicles (AV) Strategic Plan! The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) and City and County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG) value your feedback and want to hear your thoughts and ideas about AV deployment in San Mateo County. At their workshop, they will give an overview of the project, provide information on practical AV applications and seek feedback on a draft vision statement, set of goals and preliminary strategies.

The workshop will take place Nov. 15 at 6–8 p.m.

About the Project

The SMCTA and C/CAG are co-sponsoring a Strategic Plan coupled with a five-year action plan to prepare for the advent of AV in San Mateo County. The plan will include strategies and recommendations for the prioritization of AV pilots, projects and activities that align with the federal, state and local visions for AV deployment to improve connectivity and mobility.
