Annual Poster Challenge: Winners from Laurel and Encinal Schools

This year, for its annual Poster and Video Challenge, the Menlo Park SRTS program invited all students in Menlo Park to share a drawing about their school commute with the Safe Routes to School Program.

Elementary school students were prompted to share in their artwork how they travel to school and with whom, what they enjoy the most and who makes their school travel safer.

The winners are from Laurel and Encinal Elementary schools, in second and third grades. The artworks show biking safety reminders and children crossing the street with the help of a crossing guard.
