Calling all volunteers: Make walking and biking safer for students
Published on August 12, 2025
Want to help make getting to school safer, healthier and more fun? The Menlo Park Safe Routes to School Program is looking for energetic and caring volunteers to support events and activities during the 2025/2026 school year!
Whether you have a few minutes before school drop-off or want to take on a bigger role in your child’s school community, there’s something for everyone. Volunteers help organize Walk and Roll to School Days, lead Walking School Buses and Bike Trains, support student surveys or even hand out hot cocoa to carpoolers. SRTS events are held throughout the year and previous experience is not required!
If you would like to volunteer, please submit a form of interest.
