The primary goal of the Safety Element update is to identify how to reduce potential risks of injury, property damage, and economic and social disruptions resulting from natural and human-made hazards.
The element will be updated for consistency with other local documents such as the Climate Action Plan and the County's Multijurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan.
