Maintenance Division

Front-loader-bucket-holds-asphalt-for-street-repair.jpg

The Maintenance Division provides many of the basic services that affect the daily lives of everyone who lives, works, visits and commutes within the City.

The Maintenance Division provides support to all City departments and provides service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to address emergencies during non-working hours.

The Maintenance Division is responsible for the following six programs: Trees, Parks, Streets, Fleet, Water and Facilities.

ACT Menlo Park

Submit a service request or code enforcement report.

Sidewalk repair program

Sidewalks are where residents exercise, walk to local shops, wait for the bus, and talk with neighbors. They are one of the most important pieces of Menlo Park’s transportation network.

Street sweeping schedule

Street sweeping is a City service that helps to beautify the community by removing litter and debris from the streets.

Trees

Menlo Park desires a thick urban forest to protect and preserve the scenic beauty and natural environment of the city.

Landscaping assessment district

The Landscaping Assessment District was formed to partially finance the cost of operating three city-provided services: street tree maintenance, street sweeping and sidewalk repair and replacement for areas damaged by street trees.
