Welcome to Menlo Park’s 1st annual heritage tree tag scavenger hunt!

We have placed 19 tags next to beautiful heritage trees throughout the City to help raise awareness of the City's urban forest.

Join in the fun and search for heritage tree tags hidden in your neighborhood park. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore, learn, and connect with nature!

This activity runs from Sept. 1 to Sept. 22.

Activity rules

  • Use the interactive heritage tree tag map or grab a flyer at one of the pickup locations to get a map of where you can find each heritage tree tag.
  • The scavenger hunt is open to all City of Menlo Park residents. 
  • Submissions must be received by Sept. 22 to be included in the drawing, one submission per household.
