Slow Streets Program

Program Description

15-mph-school-zone-speed-sign-and-completed-Sharon-Road-sidewalk.jpg The Slow Streets program is the successor to the neighborhood traffic management program (NTMP) and provides an opportunity for residents to request traffic calming on local streets, while prioritizing safety improvements on local streets. The program was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic and is undergoing a review following direction from the Vision Zero Action Plan.

The program applies to local serving roadways, defined as Local Roads, Neighborhood Connectors, and Bicycle Boulevards in the City's General Plan Circulation Element.

Documents
