Commonwealth Corporate Center 3 draft environmental report released

The city published the proposed Commonwealth Corporate Center Building 3 project draft environmental impact report on Friday, July 1, 2022. A paper copy is available for review in the Menlo Park Library at 800 Alma St., and at the Belle Haven Branch Library at 413 Ivy Drive. Interested parties should request the report at the library information desk.
The proposed project includes:
• A new four-story office building, up to 249,500 square feet in size
• Community amenities in-lieu fee (proposed as the applicant’s community amenity in exchange for bonus level development)
Residents are encouraged to review the draft environmental impact report and participate in the July 11, 2022, Planning Commission meeting to provide comments. The comment review period for the draft environmental impact report is open now through Monday, Aug. 15, 2022. Written comments must be submitted no later than 5 p.m., Aug. 15, 2022.

More details on the proposed project are available on the city’s Commonwealth Building 3 webpage. Following the close of the draft environmental impact report public review period on Aug. 15, 2022, staff will prepare a final environmental impact report that will include responses to all substantive comments received on the draft environmental impact report.
