Lawn replacement rebate increased

As of July 1, Menlo Park Municipal Water (MPMW) has increased its Lawn Be Gone rebate from $2 per square foot to $3 per square foot of lawn converted.

The Lawn Be Gone rebate is available to all Menlo Park Municipal Water customers to supplement the cost of converting water-intensive grass to a colorful drought-tolerant landscape. To qualify for the rebate, applicants must get a site pre-inspection before installation and convert a minimum of 200 square feet of lawn to drought-tolerant landscape. For non-MPMW customers, visit your water provider’s website to learn more about the conservation programs offered to you.
