The City of Menlo Park published the proposed Parkline Master Plan Project draft environmental impact report (Draft EIR) Thursday, June 20. A paper copy is available for review in the Menlo Park Library at 800 Alma St. and the Belle Haven Library at 100 Terminal Ave. Interested parties should request the report at the library information desk.

The Proposed Project would comprehensively redevelop the SRI Campus with a mix of uses consisting primarily of up to 550 residential units and office/R&D uses, publicly-accessible open space, and limited retail and restaurant components. There would be no increase in the non-residential square footage for a total of approximately 1.38 million square feet. In addition to the Proposed Project, the City is evaluating a Project Variant submitted by the applicant, which includes the parcel at 201 Ravenswood Ave. and up to 800 residential units.

Community members are encouraged to review the Draft EIR and participate in the July 22 Planning Commission meeting. The comment review period for the Draft EIR is open now through Monday, Aug. 5. Written comments must be submitted no later than 5:30 p.m. Aug. 5.
